ESN

The ESN is the UK's Emergency Services Network, being developed to replace the existing Airwave system. The original release date of the ESN was 2019 having been originally proposed in 2014, but as of mid 2026, the system has yet to go into widespread testing phase. Experts guess that it will be 2029 / 2030 by the time its released and Airwave is fully retired.
